The home office is located in Greenwood, Miss. * Today, John-Richard has the largest scope of products of any home accent manufacturer in the United States. * Alex Malouf is the CEO and Alan Galbraith is the president of John-Richard. * John-Richard was formed in 1980 as a sideline business to one of the largest retail furniture operations in the Mississippi Delta. The company name is taken from the middle names of the original partners. * The company, as it exists today, really began to take shape in 1987 when Alex Malouf became the owner. One of the original partners, Malouf had a desire to become one of the country's finest producers of framed art. * The John-Richard operations encompass a 275,000 square foot manufacturing facility and a 900,000 square foot warehouse for botanicals, accessories and furniture. * John-Richard currently employs more than 10 designers making it possible to create, produce and deliver a world of luxurious creations. * In addition to the Greenwood facility, John-Richard has offices in India, China, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam with a total employment of more than 500 people. * John-Richard begins operation in July of a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Vietnam with an initial staff of 50-60 employees. * John-Richard's new showroom, located at 200 Steele in High Point, N.C., includes more than 32,000 square feet allowing ample space for all of the company's divisions. * John-Richard Divisions: Wall Art, Mirrors, Furniture, Lighting, Soft Goods, Accessories and Botanicals.
